At our meetings, we discuss relevant human rights topics, both on the local and international scale. We try to engage with popular culture and human rights simultaneously to make the information more accessible to everyone. 

We also conduct research on human rights topics and disseminate this research on our social media accounts. We've researched and raised awareness of a wide range of issues from abortion rights in Iowa to executions in Iran to the conflict in Darfur.

Lastly, we engage in advocacy by promoting community service events, encouraging people to attend lectures and events related to human rights, and hosting events throughout the semester to bring attention to these issues.
